First debuting in August of 1992 as the 1993 Ford Probe, it was initially offered in the GT and SE/GL trim levels. The GT package came with the same 2.5L V6 found in the Mazda MX-6 and Mazda 626 of the same generation. The car was very well recieved by the public, and the press had good things to say about it as well. The sweeping lines and aggressive stance of the attractive new 2 door coupe were very popular.
