The CorkSport Mazdaspeed Protege Power Series Downpipe gives you fasterturbo spool up which results in a larger power band. The Mazdaspeed
Protege downpipe can be used with most aftermarket exhaust system or
OEM parts.
The CorkSport Mazdaspeed Protege Power Series Downpipe is constructed with the quality materials and construction methods. CorkSport uses polished 61mm 304 Stainless Steel piping for all our Mazdaspeed Protege Downpipes. Mandrel bent piping is used for smooth exhaust flow to increase power. CorkSport Mazdaspeed Protege Downpipe also features TIG welds for a strong and good looking connection. CorkSport Mazdaspeed Protege Power Series Downpipe features a stylish etched stainless steel logo plate identifying the exhaust as a genuine CorkSport product.
The CorkSport Mazdaspeed Protege Downpipe includes the hardware needed for installation.
The factory motor mounts are very soft on the stock Protege and CorkSport has found that they allow too much engine movement. This extra movement can break the exhaust system. Upgraded motor mounts are required to get the 2 year warranty CorkSport offers on our exhaust products.
