The CorkSport racepipe uses factory style flanges at both ends and the various Power Series Racepipe configurations allow fitment to stock exhaust and aftermarket exhaust systems.
Single Resonated: Featuring a large 130mm (5") Diameter x 300mm (12") Long Resonator in place of the factory Catalytic Converter followed by a 60mm Straight Pipe. Decibel levels 20' outside the car off the back bumper are 64dB at idle, 95dB at 4000rpm and 103dB at 5000rpm free rev. Inside the car it posts 72dB at 38mph in 4th gear, 94dB at 30% throttle acceleration in 4th gear and 88 dB at cruise 60mph in 6th gear.
Dual Resonated: Featuring the same large primary resonator as the Single Resonated Configuration along with a 110mm (4.35") Diameter x 250mm (10") secondary resonator, this brings the decibles 1-2 dB on 30% Throttle Accel in 4th Gear and Cruising at 60mph in 6th gear while inside the car. 20' off the back bumper at idle they are identical, with a 2 dB decrease at 4000 RPM and 5000 RPM free rev.
Single Resonated with High Flow Catalytic Converter: Equivalent to the single resonated racepipe featuring a high flow Catalyst in place of the factory secondary resonator. This catalyst does not include any fiberglass or expanded vermiculite packing material that often blows out causing premature deterioration of the catalyst.

Features: All three configurations utilize TIG Welded T304 Stainless Construction (with 410 Stainless Housing for the Catalytic Converter). The front flange is a flat gasket style connection and the rear flange utilizes the factory spherical exhaust donut style connection. The Racepipes feature two O2 sensor bungs, one for the stock O2 sensor, and the other for aftermarket wideband sensors. The CorkSport RX-8 Racepipe features full color installation instructions with video clips and comes with all required hardware for installation.
