The CorkSport Rx7 Fan Shroud was made to allow people to keep their
stock cooling fan when upgrading a radiator with a thicker aftermarket
unit like the CorkSport radiator. The fan shroud fits 1986-1991 Rx7
including convertible models.
The shroud is a more aesthetic compare to the stock fan shroud that has the unsightly "dent". The CorkSport Rx7 fan shroud is made from Hi-Temp FRP and comes gel coated black. It can be installed as is or painted. The fan shroud is designed to be used with either the stock radiator or thicker aftermarket radiators like the CorkSport Power Series Radiator.
The CorkSport fan shroud is made for cars who do not use the factory airbox snorkel. The recess for the snorkel has been removed to allow the extra clearance with thicker radiators which put the shroud closer to the stock fan.
The CorkSport Rx7 Shroud will not work with a Koyo Type N Radiator.
