In 2003, after 4 years of enthusiasts driving their already fantastic BJ chassis Proteges, Mazda sought to add the ultimate Protege to their lineup. Building upon the success seen with the naturally aspirated (NA) Protege MP3, Mazda opted to keep many of the parts the same but chose to replace the NA engine with a turbocharged variant. The MazdaSpeed Protege upped the Horsepower from around 135hp for the MP3 to just over 170hp at factory boost levels.

Produced in limited numbers the MazdaSpeed Protege is the pinnacle of the late-model Protege lineup, and we here at CorkSport are proud to produce parts to allow you to customize and improve your already stellar Protege.
