In 1990 Mazda would shock the world by offering a small sports car with the performance and looks of a car twice its price. The Mazda Miata has gone on to become the most raced car in North America and shows no sign of stopping. Originally available with a DOHC 1.6L engine in 1990 - 1993, using the familiar B6 platform found in other Mazdas of the era. The 1994 - 1997 Miatas recieved a larger more powerful engine, the DOHC 1.8L BP found in cars such as the Protege LX.
Initial demand far outweighed production, as rave reviews from the automotive press convinced a whole legion of sports car enthusiasts to abandon their old decaying British roadsters and move on to a more modern reliable design.
CorkSport stocks and sells a wide variety of parts for the Miata. We are happy to help you customize your car just how you want it, whether you're just cruising around town, or turning your little Miata into a track monster!
