I purchased the short ram intake for my 2011 Mazda 3 non-skyative 2.0 MZR engine and wanted to know if this filter is the correct one 3” to replace with my old filter or do I need the 3-1/2” filter?

I have a 2010 Mazdaspeed 3 fitted with the Corksport Turbo Inlet Pipe and the discontinued Corksport Stage III Cold Air Intake (Goes in the driver front fender/bumper). Is this the correct replacement filter or is the 3.5 inch one correct?

Since most of the "reviews" for this filter seem to be questions rather than reviews, here's an actual review.



Great filter. I live in a very dusty rural area and the claims that this filter sheds dust are accurate. Still, every oil change it should be taken off, tapped or gently blown off to get any stuck-on dust off. I use a simple, green colored spray cleaner to clean it. Just spray it all over, let it sit, rinse with warm water, dry in the sun and you're good to go.



Performance was slightly improved, but the engine sounds better and runs and lower RPM with this filter as compared with the OEM filter. Great product, worth getting.

Quick question, I just want to verify, Does this dry flow filter have the same dimensions as the (CODE: Axe-6-117) short ram intake for the 04-09 Mz3?? I forgot to buy replacement filters when I purchased the Intake from you guys.. -_-
