The 80mm Power Series exhaust is an aggressive system which gives solid performance compared to the stock Mazda exhaust system. The exhaust fits the Mazdaspeed Protege provides the largest diameter exhaust piping on the market. The exhaust can be fitted to the other models of 99-03 Protege if they have the requirements of a large diameter exhaust system.

The CorkSport Protege Power Series exhaust systems are constructed with the quality materials and construction methods. CorkSport uses 80mm ID (3.1 inch) polished 304 Stainless Steel piping for our Mazdaspeed Protege exhaust system. Mandrel bent pipe is used for smooth exhaust flow to increase power. CorkSport Protege exhaust also features TIG welds for a strong and good looking connection. CorkSport Power Series Protege Exhausts feature a stylish etched stainless steel logo plate identifying the exhaust as a genuine CorkSport product.

The factory motor mounts are very soft on the stock Protege and CorkSport has found that they allow too much engine movement. This extra movement can break the exhaust system thus we recommend installation of motor mount inserts or upgraded mounts with the installation of the exhaust system.

The CorkSport Protege exhaust includes the hardware needed for installation of the exhaust. CorkSport exhausts utilize factory hanger locations for easy installation. The exhaust also comes with a 2 year warranty.
