CorkSport is now offering a performance exhaust camshaft for the MazdaFS/FP engine. The CorkSport Camshaft features a similar grind to the discontinued Mazdaspeed of Japan Familia exhaust camshaft.

CorkSport starts from a new billet and is easily identifiable with a CS cast into the camshaft. The CorkSport Camshaft has a distributor drive so it can be used in 1993-97 FS powered vehicles. Testing of the camshaft showed a peak power gain of 7 wheel hp on a 2001 Mazda Protege equipped with a J-Spec intake camshaft, header, CorkSport Power Series Exhaust, and an Injen Cold Air Intake.

Each camshaft includes installation instructions. The camshaft will work in all FS DOHC engines including 98-2003 Mazda Protege/Protege5 and Mazdaspeed Protege

We do not recommend installation of this camshaft in to 93-97 automatic transmission vehicles. Idle quality will be poor.
