CorkSport offers the only bolt on header for the 1.6 DOHC 4cylinder Mx3. The 4-2-1 design offers increased mid range and top end power to get the most from your Mx3.
The CorkSport header is made from 304 stainless steel and TIG welded. The header features the EGR fitting for the 94-96 1.6 DOHC engine to keep the check engine light from turning on.
The header includes full installation instructions and all of the needed hardware for installation.
Installation of the header into the 1.6 SOHC model Mx3 requires welding at the exhaust connection. This header also will fit the engine in the Mercury Capri 1.6 DOHC and other B series DOHC front wheel drive Mazda engines which will require welding for the exhaust connection.
The header does not fit A/C equipped vehicles.
