Installation Of MAZDASPEED Front Nose and Side Skirts

Mazdaspeed Front Nose:



The Mazdaspeed (MS) front nose is made from Fiberglass. It comes primed in white and ready to paint. There are two mesh grilles integrated with the fiberglass to protect the radiator and AC condensor. There are several advantages to installing this nose. The extra ducts in front of the tires can be utilized in a variety of ways:

• There is a kit available for fog light installation.
• Left alone they will provide extra cooling for the brakes.
• The ducts could be used as a fresh air source for custom intakes.

The MS nose actually sits 1/2 inch higher than stock near the tires. The center is the same height as the stock nose. It should be noted that the MS nose sits further forward and will hit the pavement on steep driveways.

The installation is quite simple and takes about 2 hours. You'll need to remove the hardware from the factory bumper cover and mount it on the MS front nose. Fortunately the MS nose comes with the additional parts you need for installation. This consists of assorted screws, bolts, and brackets.

Mazdaspeed Side Skirts:

The MS skirts are made from Fiberglass which has been prepared for paint and primed white. These skirts visually lower the car. Mazdaspeed designed them so that they also attach inside the door frame, which will help deter theft. The MS side skirts take about 1 hour to install. It is necessary to drill 8 holes to mount them. The skirts come with all the hardware that is necessary for installation.
